The Bed & Breakfast Part
We are delighted to have become the new “caretakers” of The Parke House. Its tradition as a B&B is long and well established. Our location on the north shore of Colpoy’s Bay affords amazing views of the bay from every room.
We named our rooms after the islands found at the mouth of the bay. White Cloud is the dream room. A custom made four poster queen sized bed ensures a good nights sleep and sun kissed cheeks at dawn. Grifﬁth has two extra long twin beds with tempur pedic mattresses. White Cloud and Griffith share a generously sized 4 piece bathroom complete with jacuzzi tub.
The Colpoy’s Suite, on the 3rd ﬂoor is for those who like the big picture! It is a self contained suite that will sleep four easily. The bedroom has a charming “village” themed custom headboard on a queen sized bed, oriented eastward for your sunrise surprise. There is also a queen sized futon in the sitting room overlooking the quay. This suite offers a kitchenette and a 3 piece bathroom.
Breakfast will be a wonderful way to start your day on the Bruce. From our potager right outside the kitchen door, we pick fresh herbs everyday. Choose from a range of vegan and gluten free to a more traditional fare. We are happy to accommodate most dietary needs. Need a picnic lunch for your day’s journey? Just ask. We also offer dinners for those who want to “dine in”. After all those years cooking from the front burners at our cafe, we still really love to cook and are happy to share our passion for taste with you.
